Realtime Contesting Service (HISS)

Goals

This is a project spearheaded by Alan Gordon, N7AKG based on his enthusiasm as a HAM operator since the 1960s.

Goal of this project: Provide a flexible real-time contesting service for all HAM operators.

The service will have:

  • Users can setup their own contests or use preset contests
  • Contests can be either open to all or by invitation
  • All scoring will be in real-time and display on dashboard
  • Contests can have chat channels to encourage team challenges and spotting
  • Validation is not required

End User Documentation

This project is in its early days and running a prototype service with a test user-interface. The project has public-facing documentation that describes how to use the service.
